Meet Dr. Radhika Nalekar

Dr. Radhika Nalekar is an Occupational Therapist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist dedicated to improving the lives of people living with lymphedema, lipedema, and other lymphatic disorders.

She completed her Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai, and later earned her certification as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) from the Academy of Lymphatic Studies (ACOLS), USA, one of the world's leading institutions in lymphatic education.

From an early age, Dr. Radhika was inspired by books that encouraged compassion, service, and making a meaningful difference in people's lives. Those values led her to healthcare, where she discovered her passion for helping people regain their independence, confidence, and quality of life.

After gaining valuable clinical experience, she established her independent practice in Mumbai to provide specialised, evidence-based care for people affected by lymphatic disorders. Her practice is built on a patient-centred approach, where every treatment plan is tailored to the individual's needs, goals, and lifestyle.

Many of her clients are women navigating cancer treatment, including surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, while continuing to care for their families, children, and careers. Their resilience and strength continually remind her to approach life with gratitude, courage, and a positive outlook.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Radhika is committed to raising awareness about lymphedema and lipedema. Many people live with swelling, pain, and discomfort simply because these conditions are misunderstood or diagnosed late. Through patient education, professional training, and community awareness, she hopes to close that gap.

Her mission is simple: to help every patient move better, live better, and never feel alone in their journey with lymphedema or lipedema.
